Dressing Fish Sauce Recipe
I always get the fish sauce mixture done firstly as it is too easy, then I can place them in the fridge for couple days or have with other Vietnamese food
What you need
- Freshly squeezed lime juice of 4 tablespoons
- 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Method: use a bowl and combine all dressing ingredients: lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, stir well until all dissolved

- 10oz (300g) pork meat: cooked and slice
- 18oz (500g) cooked Prawn: peel, devein
- 2 cups fried crab or prawn cracker
- 1/4 cup fried shallot
- 1/4 cup peeled roasted peanut
Vietnamese Coleslaw Recipe
- 1pc thinly sliced red onion
- 14oz (400g) thinly sliced sugar loaf cabbage
- 1pc continental shred cucumber
- 10oz (300g) shred carrot
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mint leaves preferably Vietnamese mints
- 1/3 cup unsalted roasted peanut
- 2 tablespoons white rice vinegar
- 1 ½ tablespoons sugar
- 2 cloves chopped garlic
- 1 chopped red chili
Toss cucumber, carrot, cabbage, red onion with salt. Stand 10 minutes. Then mix vinegar, chopped garlic, chili, and sugar then pour the mixture over the coleslaw, combine well
Before to serve
Arrange the salad on the cup, pork and prawn around the salad. Crab crackers on the side, peanut, fried shallot and mint leaves on top.
Finally, add 2-3 tablespoons of dressing fish sauce to per cup. Combine them all, and just enjoy!
